France : March 14. Hunger Strike for a Moratorium
on GMOs. Coming from different regions of France, they have started
a Hunger Strike in order to obtain a Moratorium on GE crops, a couple
of weeks before sowing.
- On the 19th of March, the government
has approved 13 new GE open-air trials.
- On the 20th of March, non-democratic
ordinances have been issued for legalizing GMO farming in the framework
of Europe.
